This website is to welcome all vampires. It is based in the East Anglia region of the United Kingdom. The idea is for all members to be over 16 yrs, as this is not designed for children. My deepest desire, is to see us all united together via this site and then, if enough bretheren are interested, to meet face to face. If enough support it, I would like to run LARPS based on White Wolfs Vampire the Masquerade (Old version). This will be used as a loose framework, not utilising VtM's method as a hard and fast set of rules. End of the day, it is for fun, for all to enjoy. I’m not sure how to begin, so I will just start! I am hoping this Coven will be on an informal basis. (Sanguines and psychics, please see your specific link on the menu.) That does not mean it is not a serious, adult orientated organization. If we have face to face meets, I would strongly encourage wearing fangs. Please acquire the best ones you can afford, if you don’t have any. If you wish to buy some, try Vampfangs on line. I am hoping there will be lee way for a free form LARPs in face to face meetings, which can take place in peoples’ homes, pubs, public places etc. Please feel free to wear what you wish, from the modern vampire clothes, the Gothic vampire darkness or whatever you feel reflects your character best. Contact lenses, props etc are all encouraged.
This is to bring together like minded, fun and friendly people who all share a common interest. We can freely discuss everything regarding vampires and everything vampiric.
I have set a minimum age limit of 16 years old. The reason for this is to set aside such……..ummmmmmmmmmm…….. contributions to vampires as Buffy and Twilight, as my intention are to develop a more mature element. I do not want to be seen to decry Twilight or Buffy. I know these works are loved by many and rightly so. Yet consider vampires without these two creations. What vampires are about and their origins. They are bathed in blood, vicious, evil, stinking, corrupt, forlorn and desperately alone. Vampires are also eminently romantic, an aspect that is highly valuable, but not the crush of recently pubescent teens, which like vampires because they are ‘cool’ and Edward makes them damp.
This is to be your club, for you to make of as you will, staying close to the original concept. Who knows where it could end up taking us?
I would like to see everyone make this an active and powerful coven and for us to most of all make friends, that will last all eternity.
